Stop Government diluting local net zero plans

West Oxfordshire District Council has proposed one of the most progressive plans for a Net Zero Garden Village in the UK.

The plans have attracted support locally and from climate campaigners, but central government planning Inspectors say the plans do too much. The Inspectors say that central government policy requires that less be done. That these plans are too ambitious!

“It isn’t right and it isn’t fair that local communities who ARE working to tackle the climate crisis are being prevented from action by central Government. ”

We are raising £15,000 to fund our High Court challenge to the planning inspectors attempt to water down the net zero ambitions of West Oxfordshire's plan for Salt Cross Garden Village.
